50 good reasons to focus on Sage Software
A new joint venture between Sybiz Software Pty Ltd and Adept Computer Support Pty Ltd will result in a focused distribution and support effort for the Sage 50 accounting software product.
The new company, Adept Distribution Pty Ltd will pool distribution and product expertise, from the joint venture partners, and reinvigorate the Australian market for the UK's leading accounting software.
"Sage 50 is already being utilised by over 1,000 Australian businesses to manage their day-to-day operations. We're confident that our focus will see the market expand rapidly." states Ed Henry, managing director, Adept Distribution.
In addition to giving end users a confidence boost the move also adds certainty to a network of loyal and skilled Sage 50 resellers.
Peter Whalley, managing director of Sybiz notes, "Our unique Channel methodologies will be of great benefit to the Sage 50 resellers. Sage 50 compliments our existing distribution of Sage Evolution, which we have been successfully distributing since inception here in Australia."
Whalley adds "Being software developers ourselves, we are in an enviable position of having a complete portfolio of development, sales & marketing, channel development & logistic skills. Our number one focus is happy customers on quality software, irrespective of the software's origin."
Sybiz's growth strategy has also seen a number of new modules added to the Sybiz Vision range, the recent announcement to distribute the Sage Pastel Partner product, and a multi-million dollar project to develop Sybiz Genesis.
Adept has it's roots in the UK where it's most notable achievements include outfitting the Royal Navy's ships and submarines with a Sage 50 based mess accounting system. Technical director Martin Neville said "We specialise in making Sage 50 fit our clients' requirements when the alternative would be to spend considerably more on a corporate accounting system".
Ed Henry concludes, "Between Adept & Sybiz we really have the mid-market covered. Timing is always important and demand for our products is growing, with so many companies outgrowing entry-level solutions."
